Gunter Damisch
Gunter Damisch (1958 - 2016) was an Austrian painter and sculptor. He belonged to the artist group “Die Neuen Wilden”, developed in the early 1980s with a subjective, carefree and life-affirming style in painting. He was a very important representative of Austrian contemporary art because of his unmistakable, convincing and consistently formulated repertoire of colors and forms.
